A/N: Rated G. With movie spoilers for DH1 so beware :D. For those who want more than 100 words  dracoharry100  is awesome. She wrote  Draco's Defiance, which gives us more of this scene from Draco's perspective!!
 

 

Harry’s mouth tastes like stale Polyjuice Potion. His face is swollen to the size of a pumpkin; he can only breathe from one nostril. It’s a mental fight to keep calm despite his face stinging. But none of that matters.

“Get Draco.” Bellatrix lingers uncomfortably close.

Inside, Harry can already sense Draco’s fear. Things were simpler at school; all-consuming hatred mingled with passion-filled kisses, easy and innocent. Draco always had potential to become a fatal foe. Harry just didn’t know how soon.

It’s like there’s cotton in Harry’s ears; only Draco’s voice rings clear.

“I can’t be sure.”

Harry breathes.
