A/N:  Part two of my kissing drab, Sugarcoated.

 

Harry stumbles down an empty corridor. His stomach is fluttering and his chest rises and falls rapidly. It’s only faint remnants of logic that remind him his feet are still firmly on the ground. He’s not drifting away. He’s not floating like Peeves or Moaning Myrtle.

Still not sure if its real even though it felt--feels real.  Malfoy’s fingers curling into Harry’s hair, Malfoy’s tongue tracing Harry’s lips time and time again. He can still feel the bruising burn of Malfoy’s bite, not painful, no. But sharp and lingering. He sucks his bottom lip between his teeth only briefly to recapture the feeling, he doesn’t want to contaminate it. It’s Malfoy’s mark, after all. His claim over Harry.

“Oi! Harry!” Ron’s voice sends him spiraling back to reality. “Thank Merlin, I found you in time.” Ron pants. “Don’t—“ He pauses  to catch his breath. “Don’t go down that corridor—Mistletoe! I was cornered by Lav and I don’t think Hermione’ll be very—Harry?” Ron gives him a peculiar look and Harry knows he must appear sick or mentally unstable. “Why are you all, red?” Ron asks.

“Because,” Harry says almost shyly. “You’re too late. I’ve already been caught.”
